Lovely Gite & Pool near Pujols

Accessed by a private lane, Las Moulinières is a secluded cottage in the grounds of the owner's property. With origins dating back to around 1850, the stone built, 2 bedroom cottage with its private pool is nestled on the side of quiet undulating valley overlooking the stunning rolling countryside.

With just under 6 hectares of land, there is plenty of space for you and your family and dogs. If coming with friends, there is ample parking around the Gîte.

Accommodation in the charming stone building is over two floors, allowing five to sleep very comfortably.

On entering the gîte through the huge glazed doors, you arrive in the spacious kitchen/dining room, which has all the necessary equipment to be able to prepare food (if you want to!) and stairs up to the first floor.

One step down takes you into the living room which has been sympathetically restored with exposed stonework as part of the interior decoration. There are dual aspect patio doors that open up to bring the outside in, one leading out onto the terrace, the other with views over the valley. There is a sofa and two armchairs where you can relax and watch television.

The house is fully equipped with dining table and 6 chairs, 3 piece suite, TV with DVD player, bluetooth speaker, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, electric toaster, kettle, coffee maker and electric fans, full range of crockery, cutlery, glasses, cooking utensils, pots and pans, steam iron and ironing board, hairdryer, cot and stair gates if required. There is also a selection of books, puzzles, board games and playing cards provided. A wood burner is our new addition to the Gîte.

The first floor has a shower room with a hand wash basin and toilet, two bedrooms (one double, one twin bedded) and a single bed situated on the mezzanine.

All linen, towels, bed sheets are included in your stay, including pool side towels.

Outside, the patio is furnished with parasol, table and chairs, plus a BBQ.

The 11m x 5m private pool with stone patio, has a pool alarm and a fence between the Gîte and pool. There are sun loungers, small tables and pool side lighting which can be turned on at night.

The nearest town of Villeneuve sur Lot holds markets 3 times a week. In Pujols they have a market every Sunday morning, and during the summer months local villages hold night markets / Marché Gourmandes, on different evenings where you can chose your food from different stalls and dine al fresco on the tables provided. They are very popular so please note you need to get there early to get a seat!

There are local shops with in a 5 minute drive, including a supermarket which is open Sunday mornings till 12.30.

During the summer months our change over day is Saturdays. If you book LAST minute, and want to arrive on a different day just ask if we have availability.

Also we accommodate bed & breakfast (continental) out of season.
