Las Moulinières
Las Moulinières is an 19th Century stone built cottage with private garden and pool nestled on the edge of a peaceful valley in the middle of the stunning French countryside.
The gîte has 2 bedrooms (one double and one twin) and a sofa bed allow 5 people to sleep in comfort. There is spacious open-plan kitchen, dining, living room and a furnished patio where you can relax and sample the local wines and French produce and enjoy far reaching panoramic views over the beautiful rolling hills.
Accessed via a private stone lane off the B118 from Villeneuve-Sur-Lot, after passing the ancient fortified village of Pujols.

Pujols Location
The Las Moulinières gîte is situated in the beautiful Valleé du Mail, deep in the Lot & Garonne countryside. Just 4kms from the beautiful 13th Century village of Pujols, noted as one of the ‘Plus Beau Villages de France’ with its bustling Sunday morning market, and 7 kms from the 13th Century town of Villeneuve Sur Lot, which boasts the most pavement cafes in the region. It is about an hour’s drive from Bergerac, and an hour and a half from Bordeaux and Toulouse.
The Lot & Garonne region is a gorgeous wilderness where the dramatic undulating hills blend seamlessly with lush valleys, punctuated with picturesque sleepy villages and historic hilltop bastide villages. It is named after the two main rivers that meander through it. It is perfect for experiencing the real French way of life with its many farmers markets, pavement cafes and restaurants. It is also ideally located for visiting the vineyards of Cahors, Buzet, Bergerac and even Saint Emillion and Bordeaux are within sniffing distance. There are also, antique fairs, boat trips along the rivers, and ‘faux’ river beaches which have water sports in the summer.
The area around Pujols is ideal for a range of activities including walking, horse riding, fishing, site seeing and visiting the local pre-historic caves. In summer the ‘Marché Gourmand’ on a Wednesday evening is a lively food market where you can sample the locally cooked cuisine, while drinking a glass of wine and listening to the local entertainment.

Dogs Welcome
At Las Moulinières dogs are more than welcome! Kennel costs are expensive so why leave your beloved dogs at home? Bring them with you to our dog friendly Pujols gite! All we ask is that you let us know when you book your holiday.
Each pet will need a passport, which is easily obtainable from your local vet prior to travel. See the DEFRA website for advice.
