Flights & Directions

With the airport of Bergerac approximately 1 hour away, there are available flights from Stansted Airport with Ryan Air virtually on a daily basis, with a number of flights per day. There are also airports at Bordeaux and Toulouse, which are approximately 90 minutes by car.

To travel from Bergerac by car, it is fairly simple. We have found the best route to take is the N21 from Bergerac airport in the direction of Villeneuve Sur Lot. Villeneuve Sur Lot is a large town which has a by-pass and on nearing the town, you continue along the by-pass (still the N21) heading for Pujols. You take the exit off the N21 that is the D911 and then come off the D911 onto the D118 heading towards Bourg De Labodie and Prayssas.

Travel along the D118 for approximately 4.5km and you will come to a junction on the left hand side of the road where there is a sign for "Las Moulinières".

If you prefer to drive but don’t feel up to an 8 hour journey in your vehicle you could opt for a Brittany ferry from Portsmouth to either Bilbao or Santander. Once docked at either port you have a 4 hour drive from Bilbao or a 5 hour drive from Santander to your destination. You will feel more refreshed and have less wear and tear on your vehicle and its occupants, in particular small children.

Las Moulinières is open for business all year round including Christmas and New year. English is the preferred language with some French spoken. Prices are advertised in GBP. Payments from countries outside the European Union are worked out at a daily GBP rate at the time of booking.
